APDW 2025 will also feature the prestigious APDW Lectureships, spotlighting world-renowned experts who are advancing knowledge and redefining standards in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

JGHFoundation-APDWF Okuda State-of-the-Art Lectureship

Vincent Wong's research primarily revolves around viral hepatitis and steatotic liver disease, with a particular focus on the development and application of non-invasive tests for screening, diagnosis and prognostication.

JGHFoundation-APDWF Marshall & Warren Luminal Gastroenterology Lectureship

Prof Yeoh’s research interest is in enhancing the early detection of gastric and colorectal cancers. He is the Lead Principal Investigator of the Singapore Gastric Cancer Consortium, a national flagship research group, which aims to improve the outcomes for gastric cancer.

APAGE-WGO Global Distinguished Lectureship

Prof.Varocha Mahachai is a Past-President of the Gastroenterological Association Thailand. She is currently an academic advisor at Center of Excellence in Digestive Diseases, Thammasat University and Science Research and Innovation. Dr.Mahachai is also a member of WGO Governing Council.

APDWF – JGHF Emerging Leaders Lectureship 1

Dr. Julajak Limsrivilai graduated M.D. with 1st honor degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2003. He also completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the same institute in 2009 and 2011, respectively.

APDWF – JGHF Emerging Leaders Lectureship 2

Adj A/Prof Muthiah graduated from the National University of Singapore. He subsequently undertook specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, graduating as the valedictorian of his cohort. He undertook further research training in Hepatology in Virginia Commonwealth University.
